Transportation: Dart ( Train in Dublin City) to Howth
The Howth Cliff Walk is a relatively easy 6 km cliff walk that takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in Dublin. The walk starts at Howth Harbour and follows the clifftops all the way to Howth Head. Along the way, you will pass stunning views of the Irish Sea, Lambay Island, and the Wicklow Mountains. The walk is well-maintained and easy to follow, making it a great option for families. I did this walk countless times, with friends and by myself. You will see Howth from a different angle depending on the season, it is definitely one of my favorite walks. On Sunday, there is also Howth food market, grab a food or sandwich, and get ready for your hike!
2. Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk / Greystones to Bray
Transportation: Dart ( Train in Dublin City) to Bray or Greystones
The Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk is a 6.4 km cliff walk that connects the two seaside towns of Bray and Greystones. The walk is relatively easy and follows the clifftops all the way along the coastline. Along the way, you will pass stunning views of the Irish Sea, the Wicklow Mountains, and the Sugarloaf Mountain. The walk is also popular with cyclists and horse riders.
I did the Bray to Greystones and Greystones to Bray, my personal favorite is Bray to Greystones. One of the most famous vegan restaurants is there: Happy Pear.
In Bray, you get more choices in terms of restaurants, Martello , Dockyard No.8 , and Carpediem (My personal favorite, they make delicious Italian sandwiches)

3. Glendalough Walk
Transportation: Take the Glendalough bus from Stephens Green, if you are working full time, I suggest taking the ones on weekend ( leaves around 11am, come back on 5pm)
![Valley Walk](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/108c76_cd49f9961d404b769227166fd5abc813~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_980,h_1307,al_c,q_90,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/108c76_cd49f9961d404b769227166fd5abc813~mv2.png)
Glendalough Walk is a great option for a hike near Dublin. It is a moderate 10 km loop walk that will bring you around the north side of the Glendalough Upper Lake, pass the old Miner Village, and up along a rocky trail along the Glenealo Falls until you cross the same river on a bridge towards the Spinc viewpoint. The views from the Spinc are some of the best in the Wicklow Mountains, and you can see all the way to the Irish Sea on a clear day. I usually do the Spinc and Glenealo Valley Walk, there are different colors of arrows in the national park, which are easy to follow.
